Publisher's Comments
A resume for an entrepreneurial CFO-level financial
management professional. The individual had so much experience that the writer took three
full pages to display that experience to the individual's advantage. The writer wisely
broke up the Executive Summary into two paragraphs, and the Career Profile into four
paragraphs... The Executive Highlights section also consists of small paragraphs. They are
grouped, and each group begins with a multiple-line statement in boldface. In a shorter
resume, the Career Development section might have been just a brief Work History, but in
this resume some comment about each position held provides balance...
Deborah's Comments
"Senior executive resumes are often three-to-four pages of
the information that top managers and boards of directors want to see. That information is
not only the typical achievements that are often "bulleted" on resumes, but the
actual challenge and process that preceded each achievement. Demonstrating the challenge
and process answers the employer's question "You did it for them, but can you do it
for me?"
